She enjoys making trips to the community playground. She pets these animals when we go out there.
She's really funny with the slides; she wants to climb up to the platform and then isn't sure what she wants to do when she gets up there. Sometimes I will hold her and help her slide down, but usually she just wants to get off the platform safely in my arms, avoiding slides entirely. I guess playground equipment is still a little scary to her. Here she is contemplating what to do before I try to coax her to slide down.
We're not really sure why, but she is fond of pulling on her hair until the band comes out (and then of course calling out "uh-oh!" like it was some kind of accident that her hair is now in her face). Here she is with her hair in a ponytail. Her hair is getting pretty long.
There's always time for a round of peek-a-boo.
She got into a giggle fest with Tanja on the couch.
She had fun on Easter Sunday and wore a pretty dress to church. We didn't get any pictures of her hunting Easter eggs, but she seemed to enjoy it - especially after she figured out that there were M&M's and Smarties in the plastic eggs hidden around the house. Grandma and Grandpa wound up helping her find a few of the last eggs while she was talking to them on Skype.
Here she is running around outside in her Easter dress.
And playing with/torturing Snoopy. We are so glad he is so mild mannered and great with kids.

In other news, without warning or really symptoms, she has two new molars on bottom bringing her to a total of 18 teeth. Karina is working on her vocabulary and language skills. We are working with her on multiple word phrases. She likes pointing out trucks, cars, and signs that are red (like my car), so I guess "red car" counts as a two-word phrase. We are trying to come up with three-word phrases, but haven't had much luck so far. She's learning the letters of the alphabet and does really well repeating after us when we do our ABC's. Tanja and I both celebrated our birthdays at home (we're pretty low-key).
