Karina has become quite the LEGO expert. When I came back from putting Lydia down for a nap, she surprised me with this creation she designed completely on her own. I thought it was creative.
This staircase she assembled in sections that I helped her piece together.
Dress-up has become a daily ritual. The white dress is her favorite since it makes her look like Cinderella, her current obsession. The gloves obviously seem like they are four sizes too big, but that may be part of the charm.
Karina insists that this fairy costume is really a butterfly costume.
Lydia sometimes crawls without letting her knees touch the floor. She especially crawls on all 4 when she is wearing a dress since she has learned that keeps her knees from tripping over her dress, but sometimes likes to keep her knees off the ground other times too. She's silly.
Lydia's social skills include waving, clapping, shaking her head, and patting the back of the person giving her a hug. The drop-it game is something she loves and luckily Karina happily obliges picking up everything Lydia drops, over and over and over again. I love her smile in this next picture:
Our little menace enjoys knocking all the books off the bookshelf and banging the keys on the piano.
Our vampire!!! Her fangs are ferocious.
She has so many teeth now though, that her fangs will soon blend in with her other teeth. She got one of her top middle teeth and it looks like the other top middle tooth and one bottom off-center tooth will follow shortly.
