Over the 12 day British Isles cruise, we had plenty of time to enjoy the ship's entertainment. Karina and Nate started the cruise with some Minute to Win It games. They had to flip cups over with one finger and get them to land upside down (as opposed to lying on their side). Karina wound up getting more flipped than Nate.
Derek was a big fan of the pools. There weren't too many people in the pools, but the hot tubs were more popular. The pools were mildly heated.
We watched the nightly shows. I loved the magic and some of the singing shows especially.
Derek and Lydia made some fun pins.
Although we aren't gym people, we had to try out the gym at least some.
We also played pickleball and mini-golf regularly.
We spent a fair amount of time relaxing in our rooms watching TV. We enjoyed Modern Family reruns. The kids' favorite was probably The Princess Bride since they watched it several times, and Derek took after Wesley, the Dread Pirate Roberts. Here is his impression of him:
Some arts and crafts masks we made one afternoon:
I was glad we decided we are buffet people, as it made meals so much easier. We had a fabulous time on the cruise, both with the port and sea days. We wouldn't have made it so far north into Scotland without being on a cruise.
