Karina had lots of fun with Mormor every day doing exciting new things. For example, Mormor introduced her to the excitement of the deck. Karina would want to be outside on it all day long. There they would search for ants and Karina would play with her truck or keyboard. Mormor taught her what I describe as the stomp-on-the-ants-dance-move. Whenever Karina spots an ant, she approaches it and then stomps her right foot up and down to either scare it away or kill it. Karina has also incorporated this step into her daily dance moves. It has become her favorite step, and so it is no longer just for ants.
Karina learned to be very particular about Mormor and her glasses. More specifically, Karina would not let Mormor take them off or even clean them. Any time she tried to remove the glasses, Karina would put on an upset face and make a funny squeal until the glasses were back on. In the picture above it took a while for Karina to stop complaining about Mormor's lack of glasses. For some reason, I am allowed to take my glasses on and off, but not Mormor. Here they are playing. Karina loved this shirt of a 'doggie', ie Mickey Mouse, and would point out his eyes, nose, and ears.

The next pictures are probably an overload because they are so similar, but Mormor took A LOT of pictures of Karina in her car seat. She took it upon herself to be Karina's entertainment anytime we drove anywhere.

Karina loves peek-a-boo games, though she has developed a tendency to cheat. She holds her hands over her eyes, but makes sure she has a clear view between her fingers. Somehow, she seems to think it means that she can see us, but that we can't see her. She's silly.
Karina is very organized and neat. She likes to make sure her toys are all in the right container and put away. These blocks are fun to put back in her wagon, though figuring out how the last piece fits is always difficult.

I'm glad I have two brooms, because Karina seems to think that one of them belongs to her. She's always eager to help and play a 'real' grown-up game, like sweeping.
The day my mom left, she edged the grass off our steps, and Karina had fun playing in the grass. It was fun to jump around and explore.
Snoopy is always very exciting. Even when she is not chasing him with her train or truck, Karina still likes to pet him:
