The weather has been warm - Saturday it was 65 degrees while I was working outside at the DC Temple taking down some of their Christmas lights. They have more than half a million lights, so we didn't finish taking them down, but it's a month-long project. We also have undecked the halls at our house too - our living room looks bare without the Christmas tree. And we finally saw our first snow of the season yesterday - it was just a skiff and it was gone by morning, but it was pretty. Karina was mildly intrigued by white stuff falling from the sky. She has a really cute outfit to wear when it's cold - she looks like a fluffy pink marshmallow.

Snoopy was fortunate enough to receive the bone from our spiral cut ham Christmas dinner. He got to munch on that for a few days and was very excited for lunch time when he got to eat it on the deck.

Karina likes lunch too - sweet potatoes make a tasty (and messy) meal.

Snoopy gets really cute when Karina is eating - sometimes he thinks he should get some of her food too. Karina thinks he is so interesting, and sometimes he is too distracting for her to finish her meal.

Karina is developing in leaps and bounds now. She figured out how to crawl forward and is so pleased with herself - her new hobby is chasing Snoopy (poor guy). In addition to her two bottom teeth that have come in, she now has one tooth on the top that is breaking through and another that is not far away.
She loves climbing up to a standing position so she can look around. Her balance isn't great, but it will come.

She is an expert at waving!

Happy New Year everyone!
I didn't think that it was possible, but Karina seems to be getting cuter. I hope that Tove and I get to visit again soon. -Morfar
